Situated between the Alaska Railroad fence, Whittier Ferry Terminal, and West Harbor Road—the key route for boaters—our shop is just steps away from the bustling boat launch and the boat staging area. Stop by for last minute essentials like ice, bait, and fishing gear before setting off on your next best GoFISH, Alaska memory making expedition. Or pick up some extra ice to chill your catch on the way home.

As Whittier's fishing headquarters, we're right where you need us to be!
B&J's Tackle Box operates seasonally during Whittier's bustling boating season, from May through September. We're open weekends and occasionally extend our hours to accommodate peak demand. Our regular hours are Friday from 11am to Sunday at 3pm. If you find the shop closed during late evenings or early mornings, knock on our trailer door around the corner, and one of our crew members will be glad to assist you.
