Shipping, Returns & Order Policies

Everything you need to know before you order.

We keep things simple and straightforward—just like fishing should be.

Here’s how shipping, returns, and order handling works at B&J Sporting Goods so you know exactly what to expect.

Shipping Information

We ship orders using available postal and delivery carriers based on your location and the items in your order.

• Shipping rates are calculated at checkout
• Delivery times vary based on destination and carrier
• Shipping rates may change due to postal or carrier rate increases

Some items may have shipping limitations due to size, weight, or handling requirements.

Order Processing Times

All orders are processed within 2–3 business days.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

During high-volume periods, orders may be delayed. If there’s a significant delay, we’ll contact you directly.

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout.

Standard shipping (5–7 business days):

Delivery delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control.

Shipment Details

• We ship within the U.S., U.S. Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses
• You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships
• Tracking becomes active within 24 hours

Customs, Duties & Taxes:

Customers are responsible for any applicable fees.

Damaged or Lost Packages:

We are not liable for items damaged or lost during shipping.
Please contact the carrier directly to file a claim and retain all packaging materials.

In-Store Pick Up Orders

If you choose “Pick Up In-Store” at checkout:

• Your order will be prepared and held at our Anchorage location
• Orders are held for 14 days from the date of purchase

After 14 days:

• Orders not collected are subject to a 15% restocking fee
• The order will be cancelled and refunded minus the restocking fee

Bush Orders (Anchorage Location Only)

We offer local delivery to your preferred shipping carrier:

• $10 delivery/drop-off fee
• You choose the carrier (air cargo, freight, etc.)
• We deliver your order to their Anchorage facility

This service is available from our Anchorage shop only.

Oversize & Special Handling Items

Some items may:

• Incur additional “oversize” shipping fees
• Be restricted from shipping entirely

In these cases, items will be marked as:

• In-store pick up only, or
• Subject to additional shipping charges

If you’re unsure—call us. We’ll walk you through it.

Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns on most unused items within 14 days of purchase.

To be eligible:

• Item must be unused
• Must be in original packaging
• Proof of purchase required

Once received and inspected:

• Refunds are issued (excluding original shipping costs)
• Processing time: 1–2 weeks

If something’s off—reach out. We’ll do our best to make it right.

Return Conditions & Limitations

• Discounted items are not eligible for return
• Returns must arrive in original condition or may be denied or subject to a restocking fee
• We are not responsible for return shipments lost or damaged in transit
• Use a trackable and insured shipping method

We cannot issue refunds without confirmed receipt of returned items.

All returned goods are inspected. Items in unsuitable condition may be returned to you.

Items Not Eligible for Return or Exchange

Due to safety, handling, and product integrity, the following items are final sale:

• Dip nets
• Bear spray
• Fresh bait
• Frozen bait

No exceptions.

International Shipping

We currently do not ship outside the United States.
