Dipnetting is a cornerstone of Alaska life—an all-hands, tide-and-timing operation built around filling the freezer for winter. Whether you’re headed to the Copper River at Chitina or the Kasilof River on the Kenai Peninsula, having the right gear makes a long day safer, smoother, and far more productive.
This collection includes dip nets, poles, handles, extensions, braces, and accessories selected specifically for Alaska’s high-current fisheries and demanding conditions. From heavy-duty nets built to handle fast water and full bags of sockeye to handle systems designed for leverage, reach, and durability, this is gear chosen for the way Alaskans actually dipnet.
If you’re new to dipnetting—or upgrading after a few hard-earned seasons—we’re here to help you get set up right before you head downriver.
Some dipnet gear doesn’t always make it onto the website. Reach out or stop by the shop and our team can check inventory, talk through regulations, or help you dial in a setup that matches where and how you’re fishing.
Note: Full-size dip nets and long pole handles cannot be shipped and are available for online purchase with in-store pickup only; dip nets are not eligible for returns or exchanges, and most dipnet accessories are shippable—please refer to individual product listings for specific shipping details.
