Peninsula Lead Drift Boat Anchor 35lb
Why you need this:
The 35lb anchor hits a sweet spot for anglers dealing with moderate to heavy current. It gives you more bite than a 20lb without jumping all the way to a 40 or 50. Perfect for keeping your boat steady in deeper runs and faster water where lighter anchors start to lose grip.
What’s this good for?
- Drift boats in moderate to strong current
- Backtrolling salmon in deeper channels
- Holding steady in mid-to-large river systems
- Kenai, Kasilof, and Susitna when flows are up
What can we say?
If you’re on the fence between sizes, this is usually the answer. More hold without overkill.
Why we love this one:
It’s a versatile middle ground. Enough weight to stay planted in tough conditions, but still manageable for most setups.
Features:
- 35lb solid lead construction
- Pyramid design for reliable bottom grip
- Steel eyelet for secure rope attachment
- Compact, durable build
- Built for Alaska river use
