This Orange version gives your cured eggs a bright orange presentation, providing another color option when you're putting together bait for Alaska salmon and trout fishing. One 16 oz container cures approximately 20 lbs of skein or single eggs, making it easy to process plenty of roe during salmon season.

What's this good for?

Orange Lunch Lady is designed for curing salmon roe and single eggs for bait. In Alaska, cured eggs are commonly used when targeting:

• Coho (Silver) Salmon
• Chinook (King) Salmon
• Rainbow Trout
• Dolly Varden
• Arctic Char
• Steelhead

How to use?

For every 1 lb of roe, place your eggs in a sealable container and sprinkle them with 3 tablespoons of Lunch Lady Egg Cure. Whole skeins can be opened and cured whole or cut into clusters before curing.

Allow juices to develop for approximately 12 hours, turning the eggs several times to promote an even color and cure. Leave them at room temperature for a total of 24 hours and they're ready to fish.

If you're putting your cured bait away for later, Nate's recommends draining approximately half of the developed liquid before freezing.

A little cure advice:

Wear heavy-duty rubber gloves, protect your work surfaces, and work somewhere with good ventilation. Egg cure can stain hands, clothing, countertops, and anything else that wanders into the operation. Keep the cure, brine, and finished bait away from kids and pets, and follow all instructions and warnings printed on the product label.
